Hey - I'm Dave.  Father to two. Husband to one.

I live and breathe accounting. I've been in accounting for over a decade now, in both public and private. Currently, I'm the Chief Operating Officer of ENGAGE CPAs. We're a small accounting firm in the suburbs of Philly and we're the small business advisors, tax preparers, and financial interpreters to hundreds of small business owners, from real estate agents to photographers, to creatives and medical practices.

I love what I do. I take something that comes easy to me, and I get to help small business owners so that they don't have to focus on it and they can focus on what they do best and what comes easy to them. That's what drove us to create this course.

We don't think this information should be exclusive or behind barriers of thousands of dollars of professional fees. We want to share this business information with every entrepreneur so you are able to start off on the right foot and you can avoid the feeling of your business being a snowball rolling down a hill, quickly gaining speed, and about to crash at any second. If you start your books properly, and you set up your entity correctly, and file your required taxes on time, there is no reason your business can't succeed and you can't thrive as the owner.

Plus, being stuck at home made me a little more comfortable in front of the camera and since this was all filmed in my office, I had no excuse but to record myself answering questions that you probably have had, or might have in the future.
