Hi, I’m Daisy - Chief Accounting Officer here at ENGAGE CPAs. It sounds so formal but my day-to-day job duties are not nearly as impressive sounding. 

I have been in the accounting field for over 10 years, first in the private sector before moving to public accounting. Being someone that is super analytical and overanalyzes EVERYTHING, accounting has always just clicked with me. I enjoy the problem-solving, the story the financials tell, and empowering clients to understand their business from a financial perspective.

Here at ENGAGE, I am responsible for overseeing our client's books, mostly QuickBooks Online, and making sure that our clients are utilizing QuickBooks to its fullest potential for their business and providing training to them as their business grows and adapts to ever-changing times. Most of our clients didn’t go to college for business, so our role in their business is super important and they rely heavily on our expertise for any financial decisions.

My day-to-day is filled with all the normal accounting & tax functions like reviewing and reconciling books, tax projections, and tax returns but most importantly it is filled with servicing our clients through emails, phone calls, and meetings for whatever they need advice on that day. It is truly a joy to work with so many different small business owners and to cheer them on to success!
